Jonah was swallowed by a great fish, and survived by God’s kindness. Now he’s swallowed by a greater monster

Jonah is a rebel against God’s call. But God uses the horror of what happens to the prophet to testify to Himself

God sends Jonah east to Nineveh, but the prophets runs off in the other direction, to the sea.
