On Saturday 12th September 2026 we’re holding a conference for young people aged 13-18. Our theme will be media and technology. They fill our lives and take up our time, but are we using them in the right way? Our speaker, Daniel Barden, will give two Bible talks addressing the issues, and then there will be time for Q & A.

Who is the speaker?
Daniel has been the pastor of Stowmarket Baptist Church since 2021. The Lord saved him in his early twenties and he has known the continual grace and sustaining power of the gospel in every season of life. He met Brooke while in his teens and they’ve been married since 2016, God has since blessed them with three children.
Daniel has a deep passion for preaching God’s life-changing word. In his preaching you’ll find a deep concern for exegetical and biblical theology, the law-gospel distinction, and Christ at the centre of every text. Daniel’s main aim is to help people see and savour the stunning beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Where is the conference?
Welsh Chapel, 881 High Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 1HR
The Chapel is just past McDonald’s near to the Green Man Roundabout. Buses which stop right outside include the 66, 145, 257, W13, W14 and W19. Leytonstone Tube station is a short walk away (around 600 metres). A limited amount of parking is available on the site.
