Hebrews 8:1-6
The hope of the Christian gospel isn’t just future blessing after we’ve died. Jesus grants us new life in the here and now, as he transforms how we think and live. Through him we have access to the very throne of God in heaven, and the Father is delighted to hear from us. At that throne, Jesus presents his sacrifice, bringing the mercy of God raining down upon us. No priest in this life can offer anything like this; Jesus is far superior to the finest of them. And his heavenly work brings such wonderful blessings to his forgiven people! The finest of lives is to be found by living for Jesus.
