This sermon is the first on Jeremiah and introduces the series with a general description of Old Testament prophets. They were God’s spokesmen. Their testimony came in not only their words but the events of their lives. And they spoke of more than they knew. But Christians now see the fullness of their messages because of Jesus. His words and life are the ultimate message of God, and in him the truth of eternal life can be known.
