Jonah 4:1-5
Jonah has survived a terrible threat of death twice: once in the sea, and once in Assyria. Yet though the grace of God has touched him so powerfully, he refuses to see any wisdom in God extending it to the Ninevites! Jonah knows that God is making a mistake and might as well have killed him after all. It’s an ugly attitude for a man to have. But it’s so common to us since Adam. We need to stop judging God.
