The grandeur of Jesus

Hebrews is an exhortation for Christians not to lose faith.

James is drawing to a close. He has called Christians to desist from living life without faith: they trusted Jesus to save them; they must trust him still in the midst of trials.

James was the half-brother of Jesus. He loved Israel and was faithful to his Jewish culture. But he also recognised his brother was God’s anointed king and the Son of God.

This is the first sermon in a series on the book of James. But we begin with James’s approach to an early-Church split recorded in Acts.

Becoming a Christian and joining a Church is a serious and life changing commitment, and should not be undertaken lightly.
